HelperEx is an AI-powered platform that facilitates the matching of domestic helpers with employers in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. The Platform provides:
- Profile creation and management for helpers and employers
- AI-driven matching and recommendations
- Job posting and application management

HelperEx is a technology platform and facilitator. We are not an employment agency, recruitment firm, or employer. We do not employ, supervise, or control any helper. All employment relationships are solely between the employer and the helper.
4. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and throughout your use of the Platform
- Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform
For Employers in Hong Kong: You acknowledge that hiring a domestic helper from abroad requires compliance with the Hong Kong Immigration Ordinance (Cap. 115), the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57), and the Employees' Compensation Ordinance (Cap. 282), including but not limited to the requirement of a minimum monthly household income of HK$15,000 per helper employed.
For Helpers: You acknowledge that you must hold a valid national passport and the appropriate visa before taking up employment. You must have at least 2 years of prior domestic helper experience where required by the destination jurisdiction.
5. Account Registration
5.1 Creating an Account
To use the Platform, you must register for an account by providing your phone number and completing the one-time password (OTP) verification process. You may register as either a Helper or an Employer.
5.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@helperex.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
5.3 One Account Per Person
Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination of all associated accounts.
5.4 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain materially inaccurate or misleading information.
6. User Roles and Obligations

7. Messaging and Contact Sharing
7.1 In-App and Third-Party Messaging
The Platform provides messaging functionality through in-app messaging as well as third-party channels (WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram). Messaging is provided to facilitate communication between Helpers and Employers for the purpose of discussing employment opportunities, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
7.2 Sharing of Contact Details
A Helper's phone number is shared with an Employer only when the Employer initiates contact through the Platform (e.g. via the WhatsApp contact button). An Employer's contact details are not shared with Helpers unless the Employer chooses to disclose them directly.
7.3 Messaging Conduct
Users must not use the Platform's messaging features to send unsolicited advertising, spam, abusive messages, or content unrelated to domestic helper employment. HelperEx reserves the right to monitor messages for compliance with these Terms and to suspend messaging access for Users who violate this policy.
8. AI-Powered Features and Consent
8.1 AI Matching
The Platform uses artificial intelligence, including semantic vector embeddings, to generate compatibility scores and recommend matches between helpers and employers. These AI-generated suggestions are informational and advisory only. All hiring decisions remain solely with the employer and helper.
8.2 Voice Screening
We may offer AI-assisted voice screening calls for helpers. These calls are recorded, transcribed, and analysed to assess skills, experience, and personality traits. By participating in a voice screening call, you consent to the recording, transcription, and AI analysis of that call. You may decline to participate in voice screening, which may limit the completeness of your profile and the quality of matches.
8.3 Chat-Based Profiling
We may use conversations you have with our AI agents or support team — through the Platform, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, or other messaging channels — to build, supplement, and refine your user profile. This helps us improve the accuracy of helper-employer matching. By using our messaging features, you acknowledge and consent to this use of your conversations.
8.4 Automated Document Processing
Identity documents, visa stamps, and financial documents you upload may be processed by automated AI-based systems to extract structured information (such as names, dates of birth, document numbers, and expiry dates). This information is used to pre-fill forms, verify consistency across documents, and support visa application processing. Our service providers for this processing are identified in our Privacy Policy. You may request that a member of our team manually review extracted information before it is relied upon in any submission made on your behalf.
8.5 Contacting Users
By creating an account, you consent to being contacted by HelperEx via WhatsApp, phone call, SMS, email, or in-app notifications for purposes related to the Services, including but not limited to: account verification, profile completion, match notifications, interview reminders, application updates, visa documentation status, and service announcements.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time by contacting us at support@helperex.com or using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the communication.
8.6 No Guarantee of Outcomes
AI-generated matches, scores, and recommendations do not constitute endorsements, guarantees, or warranties regarding any helper's or employer's suitability, character, reliability, or fitness for purpose.
9. Visa and Documentation Services
9.1 Form Pre-Filling and Generation
The Platform offers a documentation service that pre-fills and/or generates Hong Kong immigration forms (ID 988A, ID 988B, ID 407) based on information provided by the employer and helper. This service is designed to reduce errors and streamline the application process.
9.2 No Legal Advice
The documentation service is an administrative convenience tool. It does not constitute legal, immigration, or professional advice. HelperEx is not a law firm, immigration consultancy, or licensed employment agency.
9.3 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing all generated documents for accuracy and completeness before signing or submitting them
- Ensuring that all information provided for form generation is truthful, accurate, and consistent across documents (including the critical cross-document consistency requirements between ID 407 and ID 988B)
- Submitting documents to the appropriate government authorities
- Complying with all visa, immigration, and employment requirements in the applicable jurisdiction
9.4 No Guarantee of Approval
HelperEx does not guarantee that any visa application, contract renewal, or change-of-employer application will be approved by the Hong Kong Immigration Department or any other government authority. Approval decisions are made solely by the relevant government body.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
10.1 Subscription Plans
Certain features of the Platform (such as browsing full helper profiles) may require an active subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and features are described on the Platform and may vary by region.
10.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors (currently Stripe). By making a payment, you agree to the payment processor's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details.
10.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the subscription period selected.
10.4 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.
10.5 Add-On Services
The Platform may offer additional paid services (e.g. documentation assistance, priority matching, consultation). Pricing and terms for these services are displayed at the time of purchase.
10.6 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices and service fees at any time. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period and will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
11. Ratings and Reviews
11.1 Employer Ratings
Employers may be invited to rate Helpers after an interview or at the end of the hiring process. Ratings are used to help other Employers assess the suitability of Helpers and to improve the quality of the Platform's recommendations.
11.2 Rating Conduct
Ratings must be honest, fair, and based on genuine interactions. Ratings that are defamatory, discriminatory, retaliatory, or otherwise in bad faith may be removed by HelperEx at our discretion. A Helper may contact us to dispute a rating they believe to be unfair or inaccurate.
11.3 No Guarantee
Ratings reflect the subjective opinion of individual Employers and do not represent the views of HelperEx. A high or low rating does not constitute an endorsement or disqualification by HelperEx.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Platform Ownership
The Platform, including its design, code, algorithms, AI models, text, graphics, logos, and all other content created by HelperEx, is owned by or licensed to HelperEx and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
12.2 User Content
You retain ownership of the Content you upload to the Platform (profile information, photos, documents). By uploading Content, you grant HelperEx a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, reformat, and process that Content for the purpose of providing and improving the Services, including AI matching and profiling. This includes the right to adapt Content for technical compatibility (e.g. resizing images, reformatting text for display on different devices).
12.3 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to HelperEx about the Platform may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
13. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the Platform to:
- Engage in, facilitate, or promote human trafficking, forced labour, or any form of exploitation
- Discriminate against any user based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic, except where a bona fide occupational requirement applies (e.g. employer preference for a specific language speaker)
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate any user
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Collect, harvest, or store other users' personal data for unauthorised purposes
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Platform's security measures, access controls, or payment systems
- Use the Platform to facilitate any arrangement that violates applicable immigration or employment laws
- Solicit users to transact outside the Platform to avoid fees or in a manner that undermines Platform safety features
- Transmit unsolicited advertising or spam through the Platform's messaging features
14. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, misleading, or harmful. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.
15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
15.1 Platform Provided "As Is"
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HelperEx disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15.2 No Guarantee of Availability
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We may suspend or discontinue the Platform or any feature at any time without notice.
15.3 No Liability for User Conduct

- Disputes arising from the employment relationship
- Non-payment of wages, wrongful termination, or breach of employment contract
- Visa application outcomes or immigration decisions
- Accuracy or completeness of information provided by users
15.5 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HelperEx's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you have paid to HelperEx in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) HK$1,000.
In no event shall HelperEx be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or personal injury, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15.6 Offline Safety
HelperEx facilitates connections between Helpers and Employers, which may lead to in-person meetings such as interviews. We advise all Users to take reasonable precautions for their personal safety when meeting another User in person, including meeting in public or well-known locations where possible and informing a trusted person of the meeting details. 17.3 Arbitration
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) in accordance with the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time. The seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitration tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator.
17.4 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
18. Account Deactivation, Suspension, and Termination
18.1 Account Deactivation (by You)
